Hi Karen! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
You are just days away from your ho-ho-holiday vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort. Yay! Bringing the magic of Disney together with the festive spirit of the
holiday season is the perfect combination, in my opinion. I think you will love seeing the Christmas decorations around "The Most Magical Place on Earth!"
Santa is a popular guy this time of year, but I think you'll be happy to know that he makes appearances at a few places in the
theme parks and Disney Springs. First, take a look at the
meet-and-greet locations for Santa Goofy that my fellow Disney Parks Moms Panelist, Lynne, recently experienced. This is a fun Disney twist for meeting the man in red!
I love the set-up for meeting Santa in Disney Springs at
Santa's Chalet, personally, because it is always well-organized. You can check-in at the podium and get a text message when it is your time to meet Santa. It is very convenient and will help avoid the super long lines.
If you are heading to Epcot, make sure to stop by to see not only Santa, but also Mrs. Claus in the
American Adventure pavilion of World Showcase. There is a long list of
storytellers and holiday entertainment from around the world and it is all included in the Epcot International Festival of the Holidays which is part of your ticket to Epcot. I highly recommend this event!
When you enter each theme park, I recommend picking up a Park Map to view any other places that Santa might be meeting Guests that day. You never know when you will run into him as he makes himself available for last-minute gift requests!
Enjoy your vacation, Karen! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
