Where Can I find more questions and answers specifically concerning the cabins at fort wilderness ? We will be staying there August 2018

    Hi Bonnie!

I certainly spend a great deal of time at the Fort Wilderness Resort and would love to help you with all of your questions. You can ask me directly and I can get that information to you or you can read through various answers I have done on the panel site.

The Fort Wilderness Cabins are amazing and the place my children and their families love to stay. They have recently all been refurbished so they have better storage and a cleaner feel while still holding onto the rustic ambience. Each one can sleep 6 persons. The bedroom has a queen bed and bunk beds and there is a queen sleeper sofa in the living area. The queen bed in the bedroom is now elevated allowing guests to store suitcases or other things underneath and out of the way.

There are tvs in both the bedroom and living area. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishware and basic cooking needs. Dish soap and dishwasher powder as well as paper towel is supplied as needed.

There is one bathroom but it is large and comes supplied with your shampoos and conditioners and soaps. Towels of course are all there waiting for you.

Each cabin is also equipped with a picnic table and grill and housekeeping services daily. This morning as I walked my dog we came around by the cabins and saw a large family of deer grazing. This is what makes this resort so unique as you truly do feel like you are in the wilderness and it's a peaceful respite from the busy parks.
