Hi there, Anita!
I am so excited to hEAR you are planning a Disney Cruise Line vacation! If you have yet to sail aboard the beautiful Disney Dream, you are in for a treat! My family recently embarked on the Disney Dream for the first time and it certainly did not disappoint! The “Beauty and the Beast” live show is reason enough for me to book another cruise aboard the Disney Dream! And my boys enjoyed their fair share of treats from Vanellope’s Sweets & Treats!
The Disney Dream is one of Disney Cruise Line’s two larger ships. While they are larger than the Disney Magic and the Disney Wonder, I was surprised that it did not feel that much bigger – or even more crowded! Hopefully you will feel the same if this will be your first time on one of the larger ships. I consulted the
online deck plan for the Disney Dream, so I could accurately answer about the locations of the staterooms you are considering. They are both considered to be midship inside staterooms and both appear to be about the same distance from the midship elevators. Stateroom 8089 is more “aft”, but I believe you would still find yourself using the midship elevators and stairs. Stateroom 8063 appears to be the first inside stateroom once you turn right from the midship elevators with only one stateroom neighboring it, while stateroom 8063 has neighbors on both sides. They are both connecting staterooms, so please keep that in mind if you are considering only booking one stateroom. We have found that on previous occasions when we have had a connecting room we could hear more noise coming from our neighbors than if we did not have a connecting room.
Hopefully this helps narrow down your selection! If you have any other questions, please come back and see us!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
