where can i find a printable countdown calendar? we're taking our first trip to WDW in september and our kids want to keep track of how many days we have before we leave. thank you!

    Hi Kirsten!

I am kind of addicted to countdown calendars. I have them for Christmas, birthdays and yes, Disney vacations! I scoured the internet for a printable countdown calendar and couldn't find one! I found one cute one for DisneyLAND, but not Disney World.

Then I found a few printable Disney calendars but they weren't countdowns. Hmmm. So, I thought up a few other ideas instead (still easy, though, I promise!)

-make a countdown chain with red, black and yellow construction paper strips. You could connect them with Disney stickers even! Then, just take off one link every day!

-pick up some of those Mickey Mouse paint samples from Home Depot, write a number on each one and hang it up on a bulletin board, string or somewhere else. Then take one down each day!

-hang up envelopes with a clothespin onto a string. Have kids open one up each day---you could put Disney stickers inside, fun Disney tips or pictures from your last trip!

If you google "best advent calendars" or "countdown calendar" you should get some great ideas! Have fun!
