Hi Catherine,
Welcome to planDisney!
How exciting that you are planning a trip to the Walt Disney World® Resort! I am thrilled to see that you are planning early. First, take a look at the
character experiences and pay particular attention to the
Disney Princesses at Walt Disney World Resort. If you prefer to avoid lines, I also suggest
character dining experiences. These experiences are our favorite because we get to enjoy a nice meal while the characters visit us at the table. For my family, character dining experiences are much less stressful than waiting in a typical line.
We adore Cinderella's Royal Table, Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera (characters only at breakfast), Chef Mickey's, Tusker House Restaurant, and 1900 Park Fare. We love the character interactions at our table and have taken some super cute photos! So, take a look at the character dining options and make a few
advanced dining reservations when your
reservation booking window opens.
I also love
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, Princess Fairytale Hall, and the shows! Make sure you get a chance to see
For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-A-Along Celebration! It is such a fun and interactive show. Also, when our girls were younger, we would book an early breakfast reservation at
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall and then go to
Meet Anna and Elsa at Royal Sommerhus. If we timed our breakfast just right, we could get in line for Anna and Elsa before the line got too long.
Catherine, I hope this gets you started! I will offer one final tip - we usually do our character dining experiences at breakfast because those prices tend to be more budget friendly for us. Sending a little extra pixie dust trusting that you will get those plans finalized!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
