    Where can I find a Pocahontas costume in WDW? Would need tween 10-12. My daughter loves Pocahontas..thinking we might meet her somewhere in Animal Kingdom. Anywhere else she might be around? We will do DTD our first night there hoping to find it there.

    Thank You for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.  One of my daughter's favourite things to do while on vacation at Walt Disney World Resort is to dress up like her favourite characters.  

    I have good news and not so great news... I'll start with the good news - your daughter will definitely be able to meet Pocahontas while visiting the Magic Kingdom.  She can be found at Camp Minnie-Mickey along the greeting trails.  Be sure to pick up your Guide Map and Times Guide when entering the Theme Park to make sure you do not miss her!  

    Now for the not so magical news...  In my experience, I have never seen a Pocahontas costume at Walt Disney World Resort.  The princess costumes that are available for purchase are typically Cinderella, Aurora, Belle, Ariel, Rapunzel, Jasmine and although not princesses, Minnie Mouse and Tinker Bell.  There is hope though; depending on the time of year, the Disney store may have some Pocahontas costumes in your daughter's size.  Generally, Pocahontas will be available in the late summer early fall for Halloween costumes.  If you are lucky, an outlet store may have a few left over from last season.  If all else fails, check websites such as Amazon or eBay: I did a quick search and was able to find several different options and accessories in the size you need.
