Hello Lisa and thank you for bringing such an important question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
My husband has type 2, medicated diabetes so I completely understand the need for dietary planning for your darling princess during your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation.
Firstly, be sure to add your dear daughter's condition to your Walt Disney World Resort reservation plus any Advanced Dining Reservations you may have made. It helps if you reconfirm your daughter's dietary needs with Cast Members at each Disney restaurant; in our experience Disney servers provided us with invaluable dietary knowledge and reassurance.
This
Special Dietary Requests link contains some great information which I'm sure you'll find useful and if you so wished it contains a contact email address for special diet queries.
It's helpful to know Guests can request free cups of water at any restaurant, counter or vendor and there are
First Aid centres in every Disney Theme Park with a nurse on duty during normal park opening hours.
And lastly, perhaps take a look online at
AllEars.net - Disney with Type 1 Diabetes as an extra information resource.
If I can sprinkle any extra pixie dust onto your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort trip please pop back to ask me another question.
Have a great Disney day.
