Cheers, Laura, and welcome to planDisney! I do love a crisp beverage when I am visiting Walt Disney World, whether it's a diet cola or a hoppy IPA. I combed through more than 30 menus in search of zero proof options, and I found a few places to get a beer that is 0% alcohol by volume (ABV). Let's raise a glass and see what choices you'll have on your vacation.
The first stop on our alcohol-free beer tour is
Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant at Disney Springs. I took a look at the menu and it appears there are three beers here that are advertised as 0% ABV. You can choose from Sierra Nevada Trail Pass Golden, Guinness Zero, and Heineken 0.00. Each of those is listed as truly 0% ABV, whereas "non-alcoholic" options, like BERO, may contain up to .5% ABV.
The Heineken 0.00 can also be found at
The Edison and
Space 220 Restaurant, and the Guinness Zero is also offered at
City Works Eatery & Pour House.
Athletic Brewing Company has beers that are advertised as both "zero proof" and non-alcoholic depending on the menu, and you can find them at
Bar Riva,
Wailulu Bar & Grill, and City Works, but there was no accompanying ABV percentage listed. It will be best to check with your server at these locations to determine if they truly contain no alcohol or are below the .5% ABV limit to be considered "non-alcoholic."
Finally, if you're willing to try a drink aside from beer, many restaurants offer mocktails and other zero proof options that are sure to tantalize the taste buds. One such offering at The Edison is called the Disco Melon Soda: Sprite meets strawberry puree and cold pressed watermelon juice for a refreshing, alcohol-free sip. Did I mention it comes with a glow cube?
I hope this helps you scope out alcohol free beverages for your upcoming visit, Laura! You can always ask a Cast Member if zero proof beers or drinks are available when you visit a restaurant, quick service location, or beverage stand. Be sure to stop by again if you have additional inquiries. We'll always have a seat waiting for you here at planDisney: a place where everybody knows your name.
Cheers,
Scott
