Hi Nancy!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm officially jealous that you are doing a double dip cruise on the
Disney Dream with not one but TWO stops at Castaway Cay...my DREAM itinerary! In all seriousness, so happy to hEAR that you have this amazing voyage on the horizon.
While entertainment is always subject to change, during your 5-night voyage at sea, you can expect to have three cruise casual nights, one Pirate Night, and one optional dress-up night. For my family, sometimes we are all in the mood to dress up in full costumes for Pirate Night and other times, we'd rather scale back and go with eye patches, hooks, and bandanas. As for dress up night, it can be whatever you want it to be; I've seen tuxedos and formal gowns as well as cruise casual. Most Guests land somewhere in between.
No one does themed nights like Disney Cruise Line! Our family favorite is
Pirate Night with a themed dinner menu during
rotational dining as well as the always fun Pirates in the Caribbean deck party capped off with spectacular fireworks (weather permitting). To stay on top of all the activities and events onboard for Pirate Night and beyond, download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app.
With two days on Castaway Cay, the island is your oyster! Have fun choosing your activities from the various
Port Adventures available, many of which are available in two day packages. From glass bottom boat tours to snorkeling to parasailing, there's something for beachcombers and thrill seekers! I highly recommend
renting bikes to explore the island and making a trek to climb the Observation Tower to take in the phenomenal views.
I'm so excited for your family's unforgettable summer voyage to paradise! You're going to love all the fabulous food, exceptional entertainment, and onboard activities during your DREAMy adventure on the high seas.
SEA ya real soon!
Sherry
