Your Bahamian cruise aboard the
Disney Dream is fast approaching! The
Bahamian itinerary is one of my favorites to sail because it usually includes one of my favorite themes:
Pirate Night! Add to that a pirate celebration aboard the beautiful Disney Dream, and you’ve got a party that even Captain Jack Sparrow wouldn’t mind crashing!
I’d be happy to show you how to find out which night is Pirate Night aboard your cruise. Log in to your reservation in the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App. Open up “My Plans” and then “Onboard Fun” for each day of your cruise. Then scroll through the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique reservations. The day that shows availability for a “Pirate Makeover” is the one that is anticipated to be Pirate Night. Easy peasy! Please keep in mind that this is anticipated, and offerings are always subject to change. Now that you know, let’s get to planning those cute pirate outfits!
I also want to give you one more tip to maximize the fun during Pirate Night, and that’s to get into your swashbuckling attire earlier in the evening. I usually like to dress in my pirate attire no later than 4:00 PM, because there are so many cool piratey things to do on board! The fun usually starts around 3:00 PM, when your Disney Cruise Line Navigator App will show all the pirate activities scheduled.
Some fun pirate activities you can look forward to are:
- Photo opportunities with pirate-themed backdrops
- Character Experiences (yup, our beloved Disney friends get into their pirate attire also!)
- Pirate-themed activities in Disney’s Oceaneer Club and around the ship
- Two different deck parties: one around 7:45 PM with Captain Mickey and his pals, and another one later on at about 10:15 PM that ends in the best way possible-with fireworks at sea!
Remember that all of these activities, and more, will be listed in the Daily Schedule of your Disney Cruise Line Navigator App, and are all subject to change without notice.
