Ahoy, Alicia! Welcome to planDisney, where we aim to answer all of your Disney Cruise Line questions to set you on course for smooth sailing.
On the
Disney Fantasy, you will find two main locations showing movies throughout your cruise: Funnel Vision and the Buena Vista Theater. Over the course of your sailing, you will see a variety of Disney classics being played on Funnel Vision, which is the name lovingly given to the giant screen located on the ship’s forward funnel on Deck 11, Midship. Funnel Vision is located right next to the pool, so you can relax on a lounge chair or go for a swim while you watch your favorite films. However, if you would rather grab some popcorn and sit down inside, then the dual-level stadium seating in the
Buena Vista Theater located on Decks 4 and 5, Midship, offers some of Disney’s more recent
first-run features.
Unfortunately, the cast member that I spoke with did not have an official list for October sailings just yet, but I can confirm that the Disney Fantasy is currently showing:
Zootopia 2,
Hoppers,
The Devil Wears Prada 2, and the live-action version of
Moana. Once you arrive in the port on embarkation day, you will be able to access the full schedule of events for your sailing in the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App and will be able to confirm which movies are playing.
I hope you thoroughly enjoy sailing where magic meets the sea. If you have any other questions prior to embarkation day, then you can always reach back out to us at planDisney. Happy sailing!
