Welcome BACK, Wes!
Thank you again for visiting us hEAR at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! First, please allow me to give you a big, double-ears Cheers and 'Thank You!' for your service to our country! Disney understands just how important play time is, and as a thank you to U.S. Military members, Mickey generously offers U.S. Military Rates at his
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels.
I'm an Air Force spouse and I've booked over half a dozen Walt Disney World Resort visits using this offer. H
ears what I do, as well as some Pro Tips:
~ First off, the
Military Rates for Disney Resort Hotels are not published online. To get these prices you
must call the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations phone line. Their phone number is (407) 939-1936. I can personally attest that you are under no obligation to actually book anything and can just inquire about pricing when making this call. And the neat thing is these helpful Disney Cast Members can place a complimentary hold on this rate for 24-hours should you need to discuss these plans with someone else.
~ When you call, all you need to do is let the helpful Reservations Cast Member know that you need two rooms. And actually, once you notify them that there are 7 in your party, they'll have to sEARch for two rooms as standard rooms at
Disney's All-Star Music can sleep up to four adults and family suites can only sleep six.
And that's it! Now, some Pro Tips:
~ These offers are super popular and tend to sell out quickly, so call as soon as you can. Also, each resort hotel offers only so many Military rate rooms per night, so just because they have availability for regular rates doesn't mean that they'll have mil rooms for your dates. However, the neat thing is that both
Disney's All-Star Sports Resort and
Disney's All-Star Movies Resort are within walking distance to Music, so if you need to book one of these sister resorts you can still visit this hotel. (Bonus tip: The guest rooms at Movies all just received top-to-bottom renovations. The rooms at Music are also being renovated with about half completed at the time I'm writing this.)
~ Now, things are looking and working a bit differently right now as the
theme parks reopen, so it's possible that Disney Resort Hotel room rates just are not appearing online for anyone. However, if you can see a hotel rate for your specific dates, (ex:
I'm linking the rates of Disney's All-Star Music Resort here), typically the Military discount is anywhere between 15% to 25% off per night on rooms at
Value Resorts, 20% to 30% at the
Moderates, and 25% to 40% at a
Disney Deluxe Resort Hotel.
I hope this helped plan your upcoming Disney Days, Wes, and as always, if you have any more Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning questions, We're All Ears!
