How do I find out where the Magic Kingdom Parades will start? I know what the route is but we have reservations for lunch/dinner and want to make sure that we are positioned for the day parade where we can see it early. Thank you

    Hi Julie,

You can check the schedule for the parades at Magic Kingdom during your trip by clicking here.  That will take you to the current month's calendar.  You can select another month by clicking on the drop down list next to the View Month box. From there click on a specific day to see a schedule for the parades and fireworks. Times are always subject to change so be sure to pick up a Times Guide in addition to your Park Guide as you enter the park.

You said that you already know that the parade route runs between Frontierland (near Splash Mountain) and Town Square on Main Street U.S.A.  They don't list on the website from which location the parade will begin each day.  I suggest checking with Guest Relations as soon you enter the park for the day so you can plan accordingly.  You could also check with a Cast Member on Main Street or in Frontierland.

Sitting near the beginning of the route allows you to be among the first to leave. That will also give you an advantage of shorter lines at attractions since everyone else will still be in position waiting and watching the parade. Make sure you sit on the side of the street you want to be on once the parade is over so it will be easier for you to maneuver through the crowd.

    Wishing you magical memories :-)
