You can find
MagicBands in a variety of locations, both online and in retail establishments. Guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Collection hotel can order these magical accessories prior to their check-in date for a discounted price. You will select your MagicBand in
My Disney Experience. They will be located under the My MagicBands and Cards section of the drop-down menu. You can also purchase MagicBands before your upcoming trip from
shopDisney. This website has a huge variety to choose from. Selecting your favorite wristband after you arrive at Walt Disney World is also an option. MagicBands can be found in all four theme parks, at Disney Springs, and in Disney Resort hotel merchandise shops. There are so many fun styles to choose from including characters, castles, and churros to name a few. You may have a hard time deciding on the perfect choice.
Now that you know where to find MagicBands, we can go over all the exciting features. While MagicBands are not required during your travels, they are incredibly convenient and allow you to carry less in your theme park bag. You can use MagicBand as your theme park ticket, Disney Resort hotel room key card, and to make food and merchandise purchases. I love not having to search through my backpack for my wallet. You just tap and go! You can also use your band to connect with your
Disney PhotoPass service. One-touch of the wrist and the images captured by a Cast Member or on an attraction will magically appear in your My Disney Experience account. If your travel party plans on using the new
Disney Genie+ on your vacation, you can use your MagicBands to access your Lightning Lane queues. The use of a MagicBand is a personal preference. If you do not wish to use one, you will have an Admission Card that can be used for many of the same helpful features.
