Hiya Keith,
Welcome to planDisney! I love planning Walt Disney World Resort vacations. From selecting advanced dining reservations, a Walt Disney World Resort Collection Hotel, and extra memorable experiences from the
Enchanting Extras Collection, I carefully curate my itinerary to maximize the magic.
Keith, you have the right idea! Looking at the Theme Park hours in the
Interactive Hours and Events Calendar is the perfect way to check out what the Theme Park hours will be. It also shows you what events, parades, and nighttime entertainment are scheduled. Unfortunately, the Hours and Events Calendar does not show dates for visits past the end of February. In my experience, the Calendar only shows dates up to 60 days from the current date. With that in mind, your dates should be reflected in the Hours and Events calendar in early April.
While you wait for the Calendar to update, you can still start planning. I like to check out the
Disney Parks Blog to see what has already been announced for this summer and also begin researching what dining locations I would like to visit during my trip.
Advanced dining reservations can be made beginning 60 days before your arrival, which will be right around the time that the Hours and Event Calendar is updated! One final tip: double-check the Calendar about a week or two before your trip. Even after the hours are released, they are still subject to change. So, I always like to double-check to ensure nothing has changed. If you need anything else, please come back and see us.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
