Ahoy Janice and welcome back to planDisney! It sounds like you’re getting ready for a voyage where
the magic meets the sea! I like that you want to be prepared as possible, so let’s jump straight into your question!
According to the list of
prohibited and restricted items, you can only bring along non-perishable snack foods in its original factory-sealed packaging. These items must be consumed during your cruise or remain unopened before returning to your home port. My toddler daughters can be picky eaters so we sometimes bring along some of their favorite snacks to hold them over.
Also, it’s important to note that you cannot bring along any homemade, perishable, or precooked food along with any open food containers. But no need to be a packrat because you’ll never go hungry on a Disney cruise! From buffets and grab-and-go locations to sit-down meals and room service, you’ll be able to eat your heart out just like Remy’s family and friends! And just in case you have any
dietary restrictions or food allergies, make sure to inform Guest Services prior to your sailing to Disney Cruise Line can be informed and accommodate you.
As for beverages, apart from what my fellow panelist Dustin suggested
about bottled water, guests over 21 for most Disney cruises can bring either 1 bottle of unopened wine (no larger than 750 ml) or 6 beers. Note that the policies for alcohol are subject to change. You’ll want to bring these items in your carry-on to prevent any delays in receiving your luggage in your stateroom! Did you know your sailing includes a variety of beverages, including soft drinks, juices, water, coffee, and tea? You’ll find these beverages at the various dining locations and on the pool deck. Here’s a bonus tip, Janice! You can bring along an insulated water bottle to refill to make sure you stay hydrated during your sailing.
Janice, I hope you’re feeling better about staying full and hydrated during your next sailing! If you have any further questions about your next sailing, feel free to
contact me and my fellow panelists here at planDisney!
Your pal,
Sean
