Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Laura!
I'm very happy to hEAR you are in search of some fun opportunities to interact with Disney Characters! The best way to find them while visiting the Disney Parks is via the
My Disney Experience mobile app. Click on the map. Then simply scroll along the top to where you see "Wait Times" and select "Characters" from the drop down menu. Every Mickey silhouette shown on the map represents a different Disney Character available to meet-and-greet with Guests that day. The app will even give you directions to their location. If you prefer a hard copy in hand, then simply pick up a
GUIDEMAP as you enter each park.
There are multiple locations throughout the theme parks and Resort hotels where Disney Characters make their appearances. For example, you can meet Winnie the Pooh, Tigger and Friends near the Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. That said, the Hundred Acre Wood characters can also be found at The Crystal Palace in Magic Kingdom Park. So, yes
Character Dining is another fantastic way to meet them!
Ask Disney Characters fun questions. For example, we've asked Mickey when he'll be giving Minnie a ring. Have someone kiss Minnie's hand while proposing marriage. Ask Daisy for a kiss or compliment her attire; who is her designer? We like to tease Donald a bit, so we usually ask him why he doesn't have as much at the theme parks as Mickey does. Ask both Donald and Winnie the Pooh why they don't wear pants. Can Mary Poppins really say "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" backwards? Tell Alice that today is your Unbirthday! In short, just use your imagination and get creative while having fun with the Disney Characters.
Wishing your family, a magical visit to Walt Disney World Resort!
