Where can I find a list of attractions that are currently closed for refurbishment? I have a friend going with an athletic group and they will only have time for 1 or 2 parks. They are considering EPCOT but I think a lot is closed there.

Hello Patty! Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. How kind of you to help your friend plan a visit for their athletic group! You are asking a great question considering that the athletic group will most likely be on a tight schedule. I am glad they will have some time to visit one or two of the Disney Parks during their visit in May!

The best way to find out which attractions are being refurbished is to check the Day View Calendar on the Walt Disney World Resort Website. Once you are at the Day View Calendar, select the day you want to check for refurbishments. Then click "More Options" under "Schedules." You will see an option for "Refurbishments." Click "Refurbishments." You will also see a list entitled "Destinations." Here you can click which Disney Parks you want to check for refurbishments. It's really quite simple!

Good news! I just checked the Day View Calendar for Epcot for May 9 and 10. I do not see any scheduled refurbishments. Be sure to check that calendar as refurbishments are subject to change!

I hope your friend's athletic group has a victorious visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
