Ahoy there, Eunice! Welcome to planDisney! We're so happy you sailed by with your question about activities! There's
so much that's included in your Disney Cruise Line vacation, that you may be surprised how little you actually have to reserve ahead of time, but having an idea of what you'd like to do before the booking window opens is definitely a planDrew-approved approach!
One of my family's favorite parts of every Disney Cruise is checking the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app throughout the day to make sure we are able to chart a course for everything we want to do! But what's a guest to do if you're interested in getting a sneak peek at what you can expect
before your board the ship? Well, you're in luck! You can follow the seas over to the
Activities Overview section of the website, and get a glimpse into the future!
Think of this page as your first Port of Call, a jumping-off point for everything that is to come! From this page, you'll be guided on what to expect from the onboard entertainment - from Broadway-caliber stage shows, character experiences, fireworks at sea, and more! Now when it comes to what you'll need to reserve, most of the onboard entertainment is included in your vacation, and you likely won't need to reserve anything - other than the Royal Gathering (which used to be called the "Princess Gathering" - so there's one section down!
Now, you can't take a cruise without talking about dining, and when it comes to Disney Cruise Line, you're in luck again! All but the Adult Exclusive dining options like
Palo,
Remy, and the latest additions on the
Disney Wish,
Palo Steakhouse, and
Enchanté by Chef Arnaud Lallement are included in your cruise! That's right, no need to reserve dinner anywhere, just let rotational dining whisk you away to exciting meals each night of your cruise! Oh, and Depending on the makeup of your crew, you may be interested in everything from youth clubs to nightclubs and lounges, too!
But when it comes to things you'll need to reserve, be sure to check out the
Port Adventures page as well as the pages for
Senses Spa & Salon and activities like
Beverage Tasting Seminars! These activities will be able to be booked when your window opens and do tend to fill up fast! Depending on what Ports of Call are on your itinerary, you'll have a wealth of options to consider!
I hope that gives you a heading you can sail with, Eunice! Thank you so much for your question, and if you have any others as you continue planning, please drop me another line here at planDisney! I wish you fair winds, following seas, and all the faith, trust, and pixie dust I can muster!
SEA ya' real soon!
