Hello again, Emily!
I'm pretty sure I know just what you mean. The
Disneyland Park and
Disney California Adventure Park destination landing pages both include links to the several magical lands located at their respective parks. These pages provide an overview of the theming, dining options, and attractions available at each land. They contain beautiful photographs and videos that always get me excited to experience it all.
Some of my favorite examples of individual land description pages include
Pixar Pier,
Avengers Campus,
Main Street, U.S.A., and
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. Alas, many of the links that we find from the theme park destination pages are currently redirecting to either the "
Returning to a Land of Magic" experience updates page or to the Disneyland Resort home page. I understand your frustration as I too wish I could access the wonderful content currently missing from the website.
Even as regular Guests and fans of the Disney Parks like you and I, we have the opportunity to provide feedback to the teams that are working to maintain the magic. At the bottom of most pages of the Disneyland Resort website, you'll find a link for "Website Help." From there, you can find a page that answers the question, "
How do I report a problem with disneyland.com?" And the answer is by
reporting a problem to Disney via an email message!
Coincidentally, I noticed this same problem you did, Emily. A few months ago, I used the online email form to indicate the issue. And guess what. A few days later, Andrew, a Digital Support Cast Member, responded directly to me, thanked me for the submission, and let me know he forwarded my message to the website developers. You too can let your voice be heard by submitting a message online. Of course, the developers are busy with lots of projects. So it's understandable that they can’t fix everything reported immediately. But when multiple Guests help to highlight similar issues, the Cast Members can gain a better understanding of what tasks they might want to prioritize. I hope you are willing to spend a minute writing a message of your own. And I promise that I will also follow up with Andrew to let them know that other Guests are interested in having this area addressed.
Tony’s Tip: While the Disneyland Resort website improves day by day, you can also visit the
Disney Parks Blog to find fun information about lands at the Disneyland Resort. For example, searching for "Critter Country" on the blog brings up this
fun quiz. Or there is this historical look back to the
grand reopening of Disney California Adventure Park when Cars Land and Buena Vista Street were unveiled.
Thanks for working together to try to make the world a better place, Emily. "You and me, we’re in a club now!" "
Adventure is out there!"
