What do you do if you find an item (someone's small backpack) while in one of the parks? Are there lost and found stations or do you just give it to one of the WDW workers or characters? Thanks so Mickey!

    Hi Loretta!

If you find lost items throughout the parks, you can give it to the nearest Cast Member.  They will make sure it makes its way to the lost and found center.

If you are looking for an item you lost, check with Guest Services to see if it has been turned in yet.  If you notice you've left an item after you've left the park, you can call (407) 824-4245 and ask for Lost and Found to see if they have received your item.  It's a good idea to take valuable things with your name and at least your phone number in case you misplace them.  I left a camera on a gift shop counter in Animal Kingdom years ago and was pleasantly surprised to see it in my mailbox a few weeks after we got home.  Thank goodness I had an address label on it!

    Have a magical day!
