Welcome to planDisney, Laura! I'm so glad to be able to answer your question today. One of the things I love most about vacationing at Walt Disney World Resort is that there is a robust
complimentary transportation system to get you where you need to go. The Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC) is one of the transport hubs at The Most Magical Place On Earth, so let's chat about how you can get there and where you'll be able to go once you've arrived.
Laura, there is a walking path that connects
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort to the Transportation and Ticket Center, and you can use that to pick up the monorail that will be servicing
Magic Kingdom Park,
Disney's Contemporary Resort, and
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. Keep in mind that the Great Ceremonial House at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is currently under construction with monorail service being suspended beginning in October, so walking to the Transportation and Ticket Center will be the best way to catch the monorail and get to Magic Kingdom Park or any of the Resort Hotels around the loop.
You mentioned visiting other places around Walt Disney World Resort, so I wanted to let you know that the Transportation and Ticket Center does not have bus transportation available to the
Resort Hotels. The best thing for you to do if you want to visit another Resort Hotel is to first head to Magic Kingdom Park. It will be the closest place for you to transfer, as bus transportation is provided there to every Resort Hotel as well as Disney Springs!
I hope this answers your question, Laura, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation.
