    Dee from FL Asked

Where do I find information regarding Fl resident one day ticket

Hello, Dee! Welcome to planDisney! I always love the chance to chat with a fellow Floridian!

'Tis the season for we locals to hop over to the Walt Disney World Resort and get a little bit of magical Christmas cheer, Disney-style! My family and I were just at the Magic Kingdom Park this past weekend, and I'm already hoping to go back on Saturday. I just can't get enough!

Dee, you'll want to check the Special Tickets, Passes and Offers page for Florida residents on the Walt Disney World website for all of the deals available for those of us lucky enough to live in the Sunshine State. One thing to note, however, is that Disney doesn't offer a Florida resident discount on 1-Day Tickets. That means we pay the same amount as out-of-state Guests. The special prices for Floridians don't actually kick in until you get to 3-Day Tickets or higher. If you'd still like to purchase a 1-Day Ticket, you can do so on the Tickets page on the website.

Disney does often have special ticket deals just for us Floridians during the year, so you should definitely keep an eye on the page I linked above. You never know when a little pixie dust may just come our way!

I'm sorry I didn't have better news for you, Dee, but I do hope you're able to plan a magical holiday visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. Thanks for stopping by to see us here at planDisney, and we'll see ya again real soon!

    Keep Disney Dreaming,

    Kathy K.

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
