Hi Jodi,
Welcome to planDisney! I’m so happy to see your question because I love utilizing Disney PhotoPass photographers to take photos of my family on vacation.
The first thing I want to tell you about is
Memory Maker. The Memory Maker package allows you to download all of the photos taken on your Disney vacation for one price. This includes photos taken by the PhotoPass photographers, Magic Shots, attraction photos, and photos taken during Capture Your Moment sessions. If you purchase Memory Maker at least three days in advance, the current price is $185, subject to change. If you choose not to purchase Memory Maker, the photos can be purchased individually online.
If you’re interested in a personal 20-minute photo session with a PhotoPass photographer in one of the theme parks, you can book a
Capture Your Moment session. This is a 20-minute photo session for up to 8 guests. You can book this experience in any of the four theme parks, and the photographers can suggest locations and poses to make it seem like you’re the only Guests around! This session is currently $99, subject to change.
If you’re already in the theme parks and wondering where
PhotoPass photos can be taken, you can find this information in the My Disney Experience app. Click on the location pin at the bottom of the app to view a map of Walt Disney World Resort. Scroll through the categories at the top and find “PhotoPass.” The map will show locations where PhotoPass photos may be taken. You can even filter by locations, attractions, and different types of Magic Shots. Just a tip, while you’re likely to find several PhotoPass photographers on Main Street, U.S.A. to capture that iconic backdrop of Cinderella Castle, other PhotoPass photographers around the theme parks are not always stationary in one specific location. The best thing to do is keep an eye out for the
photographers in their lime green shirts around the parks!
I hope this helps, Jodi! If you have any more questions, come back and see us again at
planDisney!
