Where can I find the information on the new credit card hold policy at Resorts?

Hello David and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Providing a payment card either during online check-in or when checking in at the resort at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel can undoubtedly make your vacation easier. Your MagicBand can link back to your reservation thus making it possible to charge back to your room. You can then enjoy the parks and resorts without worrying about carrying cash or credit cards.

Recently, Walt Disney World did change their hold policy for payment cards. There is an outline of the policy here.  But, in a nutshell, if you provide a card for payment a hold for $100 over any current charges will be placed on the card. Additional holds will be added to ensure that there is always $100 available for use.

I hope this help answer your question. If you have more questions, don't hesitate to come back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    See ya real soon,
