Hi Donna! Welcome to planDisney.
In just a couple of days, you are arriving at
The World's Most Magical Celebration at
Walt Disney World Resort. I love creating my own scavenger hunt looking for all the golden
Disney Fab 50 Character Collection statues. They make unique and fun photo opportunities sure to yield memories to last a lifetime. Look for everyone's favorite warm hugs-loving snowman, Olaf, at
EPCOT.
A Walt Disney World Resort vacation is an inclusive adventure. They make accommodations, theme parks, and services user-friendly for people of all ages and conditions. While I am not certain of the nature of your health condition, I will cover a few of the common concerns. First, for those guests with issues tolerating queue environments is the
Disability Access Service (DAS). If you qualify for this pass, you may visit
Guest Relations once inside any of the theme parks to sign up. You will have access to return time to attractions to limit your wait times.
If mobility is an issue, you can rent
Wheelchairs and
Electric Conveyance Vehicle (ECV) at the entry of all theme parks and
Disney Springs. And finally, Walt Disney World Resort has a partnership with
AdventHealth Services. This covers first-aid needs, video visits, and urgent care needs. I have personally used these services with shuttle service to a clinic when an untimely virus struck. The staff was great and comforting.
Do not miss the new nighttime spectaculars
Disney Enchantment at
Magic Kingdom Park and
Harmonious at
EPCOT. Both of these shows use projections, music, and fireworks igniting all the emotions.
Keeping it Magical,
Cindy
