Hey Howdy Hey Darrin and welcome to planDisney!
There is nothing better than getting your trip booked to Walt Disney World Resort and starting your official countdown! Getting your
Disney Resort Collection reservations, park tickets and
Theme Park Reservations all booked is a great feeling to have, but knowing where to find this information and all other details about your upcoming trip would be nice to have that reference as well! Thank you for your question and let's get into some places to get more information about your trip.
The first place you will be able to get most of your information will be on your
My Disney Experience account or
My Disney Experience app. This will also be the place to link your reservations as is the one place everything from resort accommodations, theme park reservations, dining reservations and any other
Enchanting Extra Collection reservations may be referenced. To link reservations, you will log onto your account and note the icons at the top. If you hover over them, menus will be pulled up with buttons to link reservations from hotels, theme parks and dining. Any time you book reservations with Disney, you should receive an email with the purchase confirmation as well as the reservation confirmation number. This number will be used to link your reservation to your My Disney Experience account.
Once everything is linked, if you wanted more information about your resort, you will find the starting point on your My Disney Experience account. You should see your resort listed and if you click on it, this should bring you to a screen with all of the details of your reservation as well as the check-in option online. This process is the same with park tickets, Theme Park Reservations as well as dining reservations. On the home screen of your My Disney Experience app, you should also see any general information, news or announcements that may impact your trip as well.
If you want general information about news and things happening in Walt Disney World Resort, check out
Disney Parks Blog. They will have a lot of updates on news and information in the parks and resorts which may impact your vacation. Searching the Walt Disney World website for things like
Genie+ will give you updates as well on any recent changes such as the option to purchase Genie+ moving to purchase availability only during your stay starting June 8th instead of doing this in advance.
I hope this information was helpful to give you a starting point on where to find information about your upcoming trip. If you have any further questions please feel free to let us know, we would be happy to help!
Have a Magical Day,
Nick
