Hi! I've just find out that I'll be in WDW with my two kids (4 and 8 years old) and husband during the Disney Marathon Weekend next January. Any ideas about which parks we should go during this weekend in order to run from the crowd? Many thanks!!

    Hi Mariana!

While it may seem like Disney World has been taken over by runners that weekend, the actual crowd levels for then are still pretty mild.  The biggest thing you will notice is that there will be some road closures early on Saturday and Sunday mornings.  All of the parks will be open as usual, and the bus drivers will be well aware of the road closures.

The busiest park on that Saturday and Sunday will be Magic Kingdom.  You may want to visit that park on a different day if possible.

The crowd prediction levels for that weekend are only supposed to be a 7 out of 10, and the rest of the week before and after will be around 3-5 out of 10.  That is actually a great time to be there!

Have fun and let me know if you have any other questions!
