Welcome to planDisney, John.
I love how you're thinking so far ahead to plan for your daughter's 40th birthday. That's a true Disney dad, right there!
John, there is no official date for when hotel prices will be released for 2024. However, I just engaged my inner Basil the Great Mouse Detective and discovered that Disney tends to release their hotel prices for the following year in June. Therefore, I would anticipate you having an answer to your question around June 2023. Around that time, it's likely that you'll be able to book a vacation package that includes tickets and accommodation. If I were you, I'd keep checking the
Walt Disney World website and even
Disney Parks Blog for any announcements.
In the meantime, you can enjoy researching and planning for your magical vacation. Here are some suggestions on where to start:
- Browse through the Disney Resorts Collection hotels and start dreaming about where you'd like to stay. Questions I often ask myself are: "Are there certain Theme Parks I'd like to be close to?" "Are there methods of transportation (such as Disney Skyliner or the Monorail) I'd like to take from my hotel?" "Is there a particular Resort theme that would add extra pixie dust to my trip?" I'd also encourage you to become familiar with the many benefits of staying on property. When it comes time to book your trip, see if there are any special offers that might save you money.
- Check out the Enchanting Extras Collection and discover all the wonderful things that could maximize the magic of your daughter's 40th birthday. Would she appreciate a private tour? Or a VIP fireworks viewing? Or a spectacular show?
- Explore the many dining options that are available. From tasty quick-service restaurants to elegant table-service restaurants, Walt Disney World has it all. You can find plenty of recommendations on the planDisney website.
- Learn all you can about to new Disney Genie service, including Disney Genie+ and Individual Lightning Lanes.
- Keep up to date with what's happening in the Theme Parks. The Most Magical Place on Earth is always evolving!
I hope that's helpful, John. I'm sure your daughter will have the BEST. DAY. EVER!
ChEARS,
Mike
