Welcome to planDisney, Carly!
Your friends here at planDisney love to hear about detailed planning and record keeping. Budgeting for a Walt Disney World Resort vacation is so important – I like to arrive knowing everything is taken care of, so I can enjoy an extra Dole Whip or pair of Minnie Mouse ears without worries.
If you have a room-only reservation, meaning you have booked a
Walt Disney World Resort hotel room but didn’t include tickets (which would make it a vacation package), you will have made your payments by calling the Resort Reservation Team. In this case, there won’t be any history of your payments in your
My Disney Experience account.
If you have made a vacation package reservation (a resort hotel reservation plus tickets), you should be able to see any remaining balance in your My Disney Experience account by tapping “Resort Hotel” or “My Plans” and then “View Room Details.” This will only show remaining balance, though, and you noted that you have paid in full. I spoke to a Cast Member, who shared that there is not currently a way to see a list of payments in My Disney Experience. If you’d like an accounting of your payments, I recommend speaking to a friendly Cast Member on the Reservations team; they can be reached at (407) 939-1936.
I hope this helps get your records squared away, Carly! Once you’ve got that set, it’s time to focus on the fun for your upcoming vacation. I love to read the
Disney Parks Blog to learn about the latest news and updates from around the theme parks, resorts, and Disney Springs. Another fun planning resources is our
Panel Extras page, which is filled with packing tips, ways to sprinkle pixie dust on your vacation countdown, and more! It’s so much fun to plan and dream, and we are here to help if you have any further questions.
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
