Hi, there!
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Corinne. It's my pleasure to answer a question for a fellow Pennsylvanian!
I'm so glad to hear you're planning a visit with your family next summer. Your heart is going to just melt when you watch your kiddos experience the magic of the Walt Disney World Resort! As a fan of early planning, I totally understand wanting to start planning an itinerary well in advance. Attractions at the Walt Disney World Resort do not post weight requirements, but there are height requirements that are wise to review prior to your vacation. When you open the
My Disney Experience mobile app, click on the map at the top of the screen. Select "Filter" to narrow your search down to just one theme park at a time. Then, select "Show List." There, you'll see the entire list of attractions at the theme park you applied the filter to. If you select a specific attraction and scroll down a bit, you'll see any posted height restrictions as well as recommended ages. Accessibility and other information is also available on the same screen. I find it easier to view height restrictions on the Walt Disney World Resort website. To do this, select the Height drop-down menu from the
list of Attractions. Choose the approximate heights for your kiddos, and the list will filter to only show those attractions that your family can enjoy together.
I highly recommend including at least one
Character Dining Experience in your vacation plans. These unique meals are lots of fun for the whole family! My kids love that they can enjoy delicious kid-friendly fare AND the company of their favorite Disney characters.
I hope this was helpful!
