Where can I find gingerbread houses at Walt Disney World for Dec 2018? I know there quite a few on display and I didn't want to miss one as I'm planning a whole day to visit all the gingerbread houses

    Hi Karen!

There is absolutely nothing like the holidays at Walt Disney World Resort! With beautiful holiday decorations, festive celebrations and tasty treats, you just can't beat the holiday season at the theme parks, Disney Resort hotels and Disney Springs.

One of my favorite things to enjoy during the holidays are the incredible gingerbread displays throughout Walt Disney World Resort. While plans can always change, the following gingerbread displays are generally available every year for Guests to enjoy:
    • Disney's Contemporary Resort has an incredible display in the style of "it's a small world" on the 4th floor. Some years the theme has been Cinderella and others it has been Frozen.
    • Disney's Beach Club Resort has a life-sized Holiday Carousel. The carousel is entirely edible, hand painted and absolutely amazing!
    • Disney's Yacht Club Resort features the Holiday Miniature Train. While the train isn't made of gingerbread, it's a really adorable and definitely worth a visit.
    • Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa has the classic (and always incredible) life-sized gingerbread house. This is definitely my favorite one and I always buy a gingerbread shingle when I visit.
Generally, you can also find gingerbread displays at Tusker House in Disney's Animal Kingdom, at The American Adventure in Epcot and in the windows of Amorette’s Patisserie in Disney Springs. I recommend that you keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog as we usually get information about the gingerbread displays on the blog in mid-November, which will be perfect for you to finalize you gingerbread day.

Be sure to keep an eye out for hidden Mickey's in each of the gingerbread displays! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
