Hi Jose! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney.
The price of tickets purchased at the main entrance is the same as the price
online. It's also a good idea to purchase in advance online since you need a theme park reservation for entry and
availability is not guaranteed. When you purchase your tickets online, you confirm your preferred park day and park during your selection process, which becomes your theme park reservation. Whereas, if you visit with the intention of purchasing a ticket when you arrive, there's a chance the park or day will be full. You wouldn't be able to enter. That's a very not-so-magical possibility!
Currently, both parks have availability for your preferred park day, but that can change quickly as people make their plans for a fun day in the parks. So, the best way to price and purchase your visit is to follow the prompts online. You'll be asked what type of ticket you'd like to purchase, the number of days, how many adults and children, and whether you'd like a one park per day or Park Hopper ticket. You can also add Lighting Lane Multi Pass, which allows you to spend less time in queues. Then you'll select your preferred date and park. If you've chosen Park Hopper, the park you pick will be the park you start your day in.
Depending on the options you select, the price will change. You can play around with options to find the price and ticket type that works best for your group. When you get to the final page, you'll see your subtotal listed but you won't have paid for anything yet, so there's time to go back and make changes. You also can price this way without inputting payment and wait to purchase in person, knowing there might be no reservations available when you arrive. Prices and terms are subject to change.
There are also some
deals you might want to check out. If you're eligible and can take advantage of any current discounts, they offer Guests great value! I know I love a good deal. It brings the next Disneyland Resort vacation that much closer to reality.
I hope this helps.
Elizabeth
