Hi, there!

Crystal, I'm so excited to hear you'll be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort this January. What a magical way to ring in the new year!

I know you're going to love Disney's Pop Century Resort. The larger-than-life nods to pop culture are super fun and the recent room refurbishments are fabulous! Unfortunately, there isn't much information available about accessible rooms. I just chatted with a friendly Cast Member about which buildings feature a standard queen bed and wheelchair accessible shower, and she said that they are scattered throughout the resort. If you booked a standard room with a queen bed and wheelchair accessible shower, though, you can be sure you'll get one. If you didn't book that specific room and you'd like to, or if you'd like to talk to someone about which buildings in particular feature wheelchair accessible showers, I recommend calling the Disney Resort Hotel line at (407) 939-1936. Another great resource is Disability Services who can be contacted by phone at (407) 560-2547 or by email at disability.services@disneyparks.com.

There are many services at the Walt Disney World Resort for Guests with mobility disabilities. I encourage you to review the Guides for Guests with disabilities that are available for each theme park prior to your visit. The guides feature lots of valuable information!
