Where can I find a free soda refill station at the Magic Kingdom park in Florida?

    Hey there, Steven!

Welcome to planDisney – your visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth is nearly here! It truly is the most magical time of the year, too. Holiday decorations and incredible gingerbread houses at a few Deluxe Resorts have opened today, and special holiday events like Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and Disney Jollywood Nights at Disney’s Hollywood Studios are debuting this week! First things first, let’s find those soda refills you seek for some hydration and energy to keep you going on this wonderful vacation.

I’m sorry to share that there are no locations for a free soda refill station at Magic Kingdom Park at the Walt Disney World Resort. Quick Service dining locations sell individual cups of fountain soda, and you can purchase bottles of your favorite Coca-Cola products throughout the theme park. Both of these purchases are individual, and do not allow for complimentary refills. When ordering a tea or soda at a Table Service meal, refills are typically included (be sure to ask your server to confirm if the refills are indeed free at that time).

Some good news – if staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, you may purchase a Resort Refillable Mug at the resort’s Quick Service dining location. These stylishly themed mugs (currently designed for the Disney100 Celebration) allow you unlimited refills of soda, coffee, and tea at ANY Disney Resort for the length of your stay (up to 14 days). Be sure to bring the mug to the pool too as most have a fountain soda station where you can refill your Resort Refillable Mug as many times as you’d like! While you cannot refill the Resort Refillable Mug inside a theme park, I often fill mine with coffee or soda in the morning at my resort's Quick Service restaurant and bring it with me to a theme park to enjoy for the first part of my day; I love the mug's handy features such as insulation and a sturdy handle and lid.

You can find complimentary iced water at most Quick Service dining locations in the theme parks, Steven. Just head to the counter and kindly request the number of cups you need for your family. I often pour the fresh, ice-cold water from those disposable cups into my own Resort Refillable Mug or an insulated water bottle I’ve brought with me to the theme park. There is no limit to these complimentary cups of water throughout your day, so be sure to take advantage of this offer to stay hydrated and comfortable for your theme park adventures.

I hope this clarifies what’s available to you throughout your stay at the Walt Disney World Resort. As you get ready to enjoy this special time of year at the parks, be sure to check out the Disney Foodie Guides and planDisney’s brand-new Guide to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
