Hey There, Natasha!
Welcome to planDisney. I'm excited to hear that you're planning to spend some extra time in the theme parks during your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation –– with all the excitement surrounding
The World's Most Magical Celebration, there's so much to see and do! During your visit, be sure to check out Magic Kingdom Park's newest nighttime spectacular,
Disney Enchantment. With incredible Cinderella Castle projections, dazzling fireworks, and a beautiful musical score, it takes my breath away (and makes me a little teary) every time I see it. Believe me, you won't want to miss it!
The great news is that as a
Disney Vacation Club Resort Guest, you'll have plenty of opportunities for extra park time during your visit. Guests of
all Disney Resorts Collection hotels can take advantage of
early theme park entry, which allows you to enter the theme parks 30 minutes before opening each morning. This benefit is available to Resort Guests every day at all four theme parks during the 50th Anniversary Celebration, so you won't need to work your schedule around the calendar.
As a Guest of a Deluxe Resort (which includes all DVC properties), you'll also get an extra sprinkle of pixie dust on select evenings because you can enjoy
extended evening theme park hours at Walt Disney World parks. During this time, you’ll be treated to several bonus hours of attractions, food, and shopping for just you and a few of your Deluxe Resort neighbors. But remember that this exciting benefit varies by date and location — you can find out which dates and parks are available during your visit by hovering over the "Parks & Tickets" tab on the
Walt Disney World Resort website and clicking on "More Hours" from the drop-down menu. By selecting "Month View" on the next page, you'll be able to see when extended evening hours are offered. Just keep in mind that you will need valid admission, as well as
Disney Park Pass reservations (with the
Park Hopper option, if necessary), to take advantage of both extended hours benefits.
Thanks for visiting planDisney, Natasha. If you think of more questions as you plan your upcoming visit, please feel free to stop by again –– we're always here to help!
Have a Magical Day,
Amy
