Welcome to planDisney, Jen!
I hope you enjoyed your recent trip to
The Most Magical Place on Earth. There's truly nothing like staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel. With the magical theming, storytelling, and customer service, I always find it to be such an immersive experience staying on property. Plus, the convenient (and complimentary) transportation, the extra time in the Parks, and the ability to make advance dining reservations 60 days before your trip plus the length of your stay (up to 10 days) all combine to make my joy soar to infinity and beyond.
Last week, I had the pleasure of staying in Grand Destino Tower at
Disney's Coronado Spring Resort. All I can say is "wow!" Even though it was technically a Moderate resort, it felt like a Deluxe resort. The Dig Site Pool was spectacular. The dining options were impressive. The walk around Lago Dorado (particularly as the sun is rising) was soul-refreshing. The hotel even smelt amazing! One of the things I always do when I stay at a Disney Resort is to check what kind of mattress and pillow they have in the rooms. The ones in Grand Destino Tower were really wonderful! I noticed that they have Sahara Nights (Firm) pillows and Sealy Posturepedic Sayer Prolux Ltd. VIII Plush Pillowtop mattresses.
Since I don't know which hotel you stayed at, Jen, I'm not sure what mattress you were able to enjoy. Here are a couple of suggestions: 1) You can try and use the
Chat feature on the Walt Disney World website. If available, you can speak to a Cast Member, let them know what hotel you stayed at, and see if they can get you that information. 2) You can send another question through
planDisney, letting us know which hotel you stayed at, and we can see if we can track that info down for you.
I hope that's helpful, Jen. See ya real soon!
Mike
