hi there, how do i find out what exactly is allowed as a snack option on the disney dining plan. thanks for any help as getting very confused by it all.

    Hello Alison!

I know the Disney Dining Plan can be quite overwhelming when you're trying to figure it out from home.  Snack credits can be some of the more confusing ones to figure out because there's not an official list printed with every snack option.  There are a ton of snack options for the Disney Dining Plan and it would be hard to list them all!  When you're at Walt Disney World, you'll notice a little purple symbol on menu boards at Quick-Service restaurants, most outdoor food carts and select merchandise locations.  Those items will qualify as a snack credit on your DDP.  Some examples include bottles of soda or water, small boxes of popcorn, and one of my favorites: The Citrus Swirl...a delicious blend of vanilla and orange swirl served at the Sunshine Tree Terrace in Magic Kingdom Park.

If you're visiting during the Epcot International Wine and Food Festival, you'll notice many of the small plates offered at the various kiosks are also eligible for snack credit use.  If you're looking for something sweet and quick for breakfast, I highly recommend using a snack credit for a cinnamon roll at the Main Street Bakery in Magic Kingdom Park or Starring Rolls at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

You'll be surprised at how many options you'll have for those snack credits!

    Bon Apetit,
    Ashley
