Welcome to planDisney, Tristen!
When I first started planning Disney vacations, I remember the joy of receiving a packet in the mail (or as we'd say in England, "a parcel in the post") from Disney that included a brochure and a DVD. I can still picture myself walking down the stairs and seeing the package beneath the letter box by my front door. Having something tangible in my hands that could help me start planning my vacation was exhilarating. However, times have changed and Disney does not currently mail out information or brochures to Guests. This is largely due to their commitment to reducing waste and caring for the environment. It's also because things are always changing at Disneyland Resort. Therefore, the information on a planning DVD would become quickly out-of-date.
Even so, there is plenty of information for planning a Disneyland Resort vacation available online. Shameless plug alert! A good place to begin is the
planDisney website. So you're already at the right place! Not only will you find expert information from some of the most seasoned Disney Guests on the planet, you'll also find the
planDisney podcast and
informative videos. If you have any specific questions about your visit, you can ask them through the planDisney website. Also, please follow us on
Instagram to learn about cool tips and tricks.
Next, I'd encourage you to visit the
Disneyland Resort website, which has lots of information on the immersive
Disneyland Resort hotels, the fabulous
dining options, the magical theme parks and
Downtown Disney District. If you'd like to stay up to date on what's happening around Walt Disney World,
Disney Parks Blog is a great place to frequent.
One more suggestion: why not watch some of the brilliant shows on Disney+? If you'd like to learn more about the parks, shows like
"Behind the Attraction," and
"The Imagineering Story" will give you a greater appreciation for the magic of Disneyland Resort and increase the magic of your next visit.
I hope that's helpful, Tristen. Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney. Happy planning!
Mike
