How do I find DVC avaiblity charts

Welcome to planDisney, Donald - and Welcome Home to a fellow Disney Vacation Club Member! The first step for planning a June getaway is figuring out your accommodation options, and I'll be happy to point you in the right direction to see what's available. Let's dive right in!

You can book a DVC stay by calling Member Services or online via the Member website. If you haven't yet logged into the site, a call to Member Services will get you the info you need to access it. I generally use the website, as it's pretty straightforward once you know how to navigate it. While there are no charts with availability, I'll walk you through the steps to see a calendar view for a specific DVC resort.

Once you log in, select the "Plan a Vacation" tab at the top of the page, then "Book a Vacation".  This will take you to a search page, where you'll enter your party size, dates, and preferred accommodation and resorts. Since June isn't far away, I recommend selecting all of the resorts to give you the most options!

When your results come up, they will be listed by resort and type of accommodation. If you click on one of these, it will open a calendar view that shows how many Vacation Points you need for each date. Available dates are blue on the calendar, and gray means that there is no availability and you will need to Waitlist those dates. If you have some flexibility with your travel dates, you can hopefully find something that works for you!

Donald, if you can't find exactly what you're looking for, I recommend booking something that is available and then creating a Waitlist. Members may have up to two Waitlists per Use Year, and if your preferred accommodations open up, your request will automatically be confirmed. Guests' plans change all the time, so it never hurts to try! If you experience any issues or would prefer to speak with a helpful Cast Member, you can give Member Services a shout anytime, and they'll be happy to lend a helping hand.

I hope this information is helpful for your planning purposes, Donald! Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney, and please come see us again anytime if we can help with details of your DVC Membership, or your next Disney adventure.

    Stay Magical!
