How can I find out when the 2012 Disney Christmas Day parade is taped....Dec. 1, 7, or 8 (or none of those)? We want to try to plan to be there! Is admission normal that day? Anything special I should know besides get an early spot for the parade :) ?

    Hi Georgie!

Disney has not announced the dates yet, but based on past years, I would guess that it will be on the 7th, 8th, or 9th of December.  It's usually the first full weekend in December and not counting the end of the Thanksgiving Weekend.  However, there's no guarantee that Disney will indeed do it on the 7th, 8th, or 9th in 2012!

Some years Disney hands out tickets for the parade taping and you have to get a ticket.  On other years, however, it's just open to the general public and you don't have to do anything special.  It's too early to tell what Disney will do in 2012.  However, either way, you can still enter the park with a normal ticket.

I hope this helps!  Enjoy planning and write back with more questions as it gets closer!
