Hi Bob,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for asking us a question, my fellow Canadian Disney Vacation Club member!
I’ll say it: I kind of miss the plastic cards that we used to get that would confirm our membership. I mean, don’t get me wrong, it was just one more thing for me to misplace (I’m really good at that… trust me!) but it was kind of neat having that shiny card! That said, because I’m prone to losing things, it’s pretty nice to be able to download a digital card whenever I need it.
Here’s where you’ll find it: first, sign in to your
Disney Vacation Club account on the membership page. Once you’ve done that, look along the menu at the top of the page. If you hover over the “My DVC” heading, the last option under the “MY MEMBERSHIP” section is “
View my Membership Card.” Click on that, and you’ll be taken to a page where you’ll be able to see and display your card.
Tip: I really find it useful to take a screenshot of my digital card to save it to my photos when I start a visit to Walt Disney World Resort. I can then show that picture whenever I need to confirm my membership, rather than having to go through all of the steps to display a “live” version from the website. Note that these digital cards expire after a month, so you’ll probably need to refresh your screenshot for each visit.
You can also confirm that you’re a DVC member via the
My Disney Experience Mobile App. Just go into your Profile, click on “Memberships & Passes” and there, you’ll see your membership listed, along with any other memberships, including
Walt Disney World Annual Passes and
Castaway Club status.
Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions. We’re always happy to help!
Have a Magical Day,
Lynne
