Hi there, Kristen! You’ve come to the right place! I’m happy to share the suggested dining attire for your upcoming seven-night Alaskan Cruise.
I'm so excited for you to discover the wonders of the Last Frontier! One of the highlights of my cruise to Alaska last summer was visiting Icy Strait Point. I see you’re stopping there too! We went on a whale-watching tour, and it was absolutely fantastic! Everywhere we looked, there were tails, fins, and leaps from the water – it was unforgettable!
Your dining room servers will be dressed to impress each night, but you can opt for "
cruise casual" attire most evenings. There is a formal night on Tuesday and a semi-formal night on Saturday. Alaska can be surprisingly cool, even in the summer, so
pack plenty of layers and bring a sweater to stay comfortable in the dining rooms and on deck.
One event you definitely won’t want to miss is the
Freezing the Night Away Deck Party on Friday. Anna, Elsa, and their friends stop by for some wintery fun. You’ll find a flurry of activities throughout the day, and even the dining rooms join in, offering delicious traditional Nordic-inspired dishes.
Once you're on board, check the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app for each night’s suggested dining attire, your table number, and entertainment schedule. As you approach Dawes Glacier, keep an eye on the app for unique photo opportunities around the ship. One of my favorite pictures is of Captain Mickey in his Alaskan attire, with the majestic mountains as a backdrop – truly a memory you won’t want to miss!
Enjoy every moment of your Disney Cruise, Kristen! Feel free to reach out if you have any more questions or need further tips. May your journey be as breathtaking as the glaciers!
SEAS the adventure!
