Where can I find the ‘DECLINE’ button for MagicBands? I’ve searched every, but to no avail. We’re using are old ones.

Hey, hey Denise and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I just love MagicBands and it seems like we have a collection that could extend from my house to Mickey's House in Disneyland Park. They are an amazing, convenient piece of technology that has allowed me to leave my wallet in the hotel room. I am so glad you have one that you love so much that you are bringing it back instead of getting a new one. I asked about the battery life of the MagicBand and was told it is about 24 months. Just a heads up in case yous is getting close to that age.

Declining a Disney Resort hotel complimentary MagicBand takes place in the Online Check-In section of your Disney account in My Disney Experience. Open your favorite web browser and go the Walt Disney World Resort webpage. On the upper right side, you will see a silhouette of Mickey's Head in a circle. Hover over that circle and then click on 'My Plans.' A new page will open then scroll down to 'My Plans, Reservations and Tickets.' You will find your Disney Resort hotel reservation and the ability to "Start Check-in" by clicking the blue button on the right side. This is Online Check-In and it will give you the option to add information to your reservation to help expedite the check-in process. We are big fans of going directly to our hotel room and this process allows us to do just that. The third section is "MagicBand Order" and where you are able to decline. It is not in the MagicBand customization area any longer.

Disney Dad Tip: One thing we have done with our MagicBand 2 (latest version that everyone gets) is to remove the 'Icon' in the center and swap it out with another. These crossover MagicBands are awesome for Disneybounding.

Denise, enjoy making many Magical Memories.
