How do we find out which days Disneyland does their fireworks?

    Hi there Mallory,

Welcome back to planDisney and thanks for another great question! Fireworks nights are always a highlight for our family, so I love helping people track them down.

The best place to check on what nights these will be planned is the Hours & Events Calendar on the Disneyland Resort website. Near the top left of the page, you'll find a date toggle so you can browse specific days of your visit. There's also a toggle in the top right corner that lets you switch between a single-day view and a 5-day view. I personally like the 5-day view when trying to get a quick read on my whole trip at once. The entertainment schedule for each day will show you what's happening in each park, including any scheduled fireworks shows.

One thing worth knowing is that the calendar typically populates about six weeks out from the current date, so if your trip is still a ways off, you may not see the full entertainment schedule just yet. I'd recommend bookmarking that page and checking back as you get closer.

It's also worth keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog, since they'll often announce seasonal entertainment offerings there first - especially if a new nighttime spectacular or a special limited-run fireworks show is being added. My family and I visited earlier this summer and were finally able to catch Fire of the Rising Moons and it was absolutely incredible.

Generally speaking, fireworks tend to run on busier nights like weekends and holidays, so if catching them is a priority, planning your Disneyland Park evening around one of those days is a smart move.

Thanks so much for your question, Mallory! I hope you get to end a perfect park day under a sky full of fireworks.

    Have a Magical Day,
