Hello, Karen! Welcome back to planDisney!
Advanced Dining Reservations (ADR) are a fantastic way to plan ahead and also means one less thing to worry about when vacationing at the
Walt Disney World Resort. My family and I always plan our visit, decide on the one or two restaurants we can’t skip, and book as soon as possible!
Guests staying in a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel can book dining reservations 60 days before their arrival and for the entire length of their stay (up to 10-night stays). Guests staying off-Disney property can book dining reservations 60 days before their arrival, but only one day at a time. I recommend setting your alarm for 5:45 AM on day 60, pouring some coffee in your favorite Disney mug, and being on your computer just before 6:00 AM to ensure you grab that coveted reservation!
While the
My Disney Experience app doesn’t necessarily display a countdown specific to your dining reservation booking window, if you are staying in a Disney Resort, you can open the app, click on the menu icon (three horizontal lines in the bottom right), scroll down to Future Plans, and click on the Resort Reservation to display a countdown to your arrival. Looking at your arrival date and using my favorite online search engine, I am calculating that August 21st will be 60 days before your arrival and when you can make your dining reservations. But don’t take my word for it, please! Check, check twice!
Karen, if you need any recommendations on which restaurants to book in advance or
want my opinion on specific dining experiences, I would be happy to help! As the self-proclaimed planDisney foodie, I love sharing my views on the various options located throughout Disney World!
Good luck with grabbing those reservations!
Cheers,
Brent
