how can I find out the date I can book a vacation

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Steven! Thanks for stopping by to ask a question. Planning an upcoming vacation is certainly exciting; I know as soon as I get the bug to choose a date, my planning can’t be stopped!

You can book a vacation up to 499 days in advance, by either booking a single room with the online booking system, or calling a Cast Member at (407) 939-1936 and booking multiple rooms, purchasing tickets, or purchasing an entire vacation package. My family’s vacation style tends to be a la carte, booking a single room after we choose our dates and then we purchase park tickets with no dining package. I happen to be an Annual Passholder so I can pack up and hit the parks anytime I have vacation days ready at work. My family, on the other hand, buys park hopper tickets via My Disney Experience and hook them up to customizable MagicBands we get by staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel. When you’re ready to choose your dates and book, choose a Resort and book away. You’ll typically only need to put a certain amount down, such as 1-night’s stay deposit or as little as $200 for a Magic Your Way vacation package.

If I can help you choose a Resort that fits your vacation style or explain the Park Hopper passes to you, please let me know by asking another question. You’ve got a friend in me! ~ Lindsey P.
