    Where can I find a countdown calendar to calculate the days left before our trip.

    It's always so exciting to count the days until a fun event, and I can't imagine anything more fun than to count down the days until a Walt Disney World Resort vacation! There are lots of ways to build excitement for an upcoming Disney vacation, and here are some of my favorites:

    • Visit the app store on your smartphone. A simple search of "Disney Countdown" should bring up a list of several vacation countdown apps, many of which are completely free to use. Some apps provide Walt Disney World stock photos to use as backgrounds to your countdown, and some allow you to upload photos of your own! Simply enter your travel dates, and the app generates a vacation countdown for you.
    • Create a chalkboard countdown. In our kitchen, I have a small square of wood, painted with chalkboard paint. The outer edges are red with white polkadots (just like Minnie Mouse's famous dress). At the bottom, it says "days until Disney". It's fun to pick up the chalk each day and write in the numbers as the days count down!
    • Make a Disney paper chain - the best visual countdown for little ones! Make a paper chain with a link for each day leading up to your trip. Each day, remove one link. As the chain gets shorter and shorter, the excitement gets bigger and bigger as you see what a short time you have until your magical vacation.
