Where can I find a complete explanation on my dvc points? Using, banking and borrowing needing to refresh my memory

Hello, Patrick and welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad you stopped by with your question. As a fellow Disney Vacation Club Member, I am happy to chat with you about how to make the most out of your Membership!

Patrick, when my husband and I first were introduced to Disney Vacation Club, one of the aspects that "sold" me was the ability to move points around from one use year to another and create a truly personalized vacation for my family. In essence, since you are able to borrow for one year and bank for one year, you can use three years' worth of points for one amazing vacation... did someone just say grand villa?

Since you're looking for a refresher, I would first check out this page that provides an overview of both banking and borrowing.

I will also direct you to this page about banking deadlines. Depending upon your "use year," there will be a deadline to bank your points for future use. If you don't remember your use year, don't fret, just call into Member Services with your Membership number handy and a Cast Member will be able to assist you. I would also take a look at this page with an easy to remember iconographic

Patrick, I hope this helps as you're delving further into your Disney Vacation Club Membership. Whether you choose to borrow some points for a quick beach getaway now or are hoping to bank some points for planning ahead (maybe at my home-away-from-home, Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney's Wilderness Lodge) I hope your next vacation is truly Magical.

Please come back and see us at planDisney if you have any other questions. We are all EARS.
