How do I find my castaway club number from cruises my parents booked when I was a child. I want to link the number to my account so I don't have to start accumulating from 0 now that I am an adult.

Ahoy there, Cole! Welcome aboard planDisney!

Ah, a lifetime of sailin' the seas, and now it's time to follow your own destiny and become the master of your own domain...er...Castaway Club status! That's a planDrew-approved approach if I've ever heard one. There's just something about logging into the Castaway Club page and seeing the number increase after every cruise - especially when it clicks past five and ten! If you are signed-in to the website, simply visiting the Castaway Club page should show your ID and status - but if not, let's set off and find your Castaway Club ID!

There's a straightforward way and then a way that has a few more steps but won't require you to wait on hold for hours! The straightforward way would be to contact a crew member by phone! Though recent upgrades and the launch of the Disney Wish's inaugural sailings have made for some long wait times, I can assure you the crew members are doing everything they can to ensure Guests get the help they need!

The other way, if you're bold enough to sail into waters seldom sailed, is to go through the process of selecting an itinerary online as you would if you were booking another cruise, but don't worry, you won't have to actually check out...unless you absolutely want to!

Once you select an itinerary and a stateroom, you'll proceed to the "Guest Information" portion of the reservation process, and this is where we can hopefully find that Castaway number! As you place your information in the Primary Guest field, there is a step that asks "Has this Guest sailed with Disney Cruise Line before?" If you select yes, and your name and birthdate information match what your parents have used for you in the past, the system should be able to match you to your Castaway Club ID and current status level! With any luck, you'll have confirmation that your name and birthdate will continue to let you accrue Castaway Club status with each completed cruise!

If for some reason that does not match and the system doesn't return your ID, I'd suggest one of two things: having your parents try the same process, and/or brave the waters of the phone lines to connect with a crew member.

I hope that helps you set a course that helps you solve this mystery, Cole! Thank you so much for your question, and if any others surface as you continue your planning voyage, please drop me another line here at planDisney! I'll be on the lookout for your colors!

Until then, fair winds and following seas!
